The U.S. Mission in Belgium seeks a Financial Assistant to support the Financial Management Center (FMC) in Brussels.

The incumbent will help maintain financial services for the Brussels Tri-Missions and other serviced agencies in Belgium, including VAT-related privileges and immunities oversight. Required are two years post-secondary education, at least two years in accounting/administrative work, and fluency in English plus Dutch or French with working knowledge of the other language.

Qualifications

• Two years of post-secondary education is required.
• Minimum two (2) years progressively responsible work in accounting or in an administrative environment is required.
• Fluency in English.
• Fluency in Dutch or French with good working knowledge in the other language.

Responsabilités

• This position enables FMC to maintain financial services for the Brussels Tri-Missions and other serviced agencies in Belgium.
• Incumbent is the key contact for VAT-related privileges and immunities for the Tri-Mission regarding services (utilities, telephones, etc.).
