The U.S. Mission in Belgium is seeking an HR Assistant - Recruiter to manage recruitment for the Tri-Mission’s American Family Member Employment Program and local staff positions across facilities and services.

The role requires three years in HR, fluency in English, and Dutch or French with knowledge of the other language, plus strong interviewing and customer-service skills. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Brussels with an SBU certification requirement.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of Human Resources office with a broad exposure to recruitment and hiring, or training, or local labor law.
• Fluency in English.
• Fluency in Dutch or French combined with good working knowledge of the other language.
• Advance knowledge of personnel recruitment, selection, performance management, training, compensation and benefits, and personnel information systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate with host government officials and external contacts.

Responsabilités

• Manages and administers recruitment for the Tri-Mission’s American Family Member Employment Program.
• Coordinates and manages Local Internship Program and local staff recruitment for Facilities Management, Warehouse, and Chauffeur positions.
• Works with HR Officers, Community Liaison Office, hiring managers, and universities to fill positions in compliance with regulations.
