bunq is expanding its footprint with a Branch Manager for Ireland and Belgium. You will own the local branch conversions and the regulator relationship, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.

After onboarding in Amsterdam, you’ll split time between Belgium and Ireland, using AI to scale processes and maintain cross-market oversight. Fluency in Dutch or French and AML/CFT expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in regulatory liaison with national banks.
• Delivered a regulated entity setup or passporting project to a fixed external date.
• Deep AML/CFT knowledge for Ireland and Belgium.
• Experience making individual user investigation decisions in a consumer retail context.
• French or Dutch language skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead the branch conversion for Ireland and Belgium to fixed deadline.
• Be the named contact for the National Bank of Belgium and Central Bank of Ireland.
• Localize AML/CFT framework for both markets through gap analysis.
• Decide escalated retail customer due diligence cases with local context.
• Build and operate AI-powered automation to scale processes.
