bunq is seeking a Branch Manager for Ireland and Belgium to convert and establish full local branches, taking ownership of regulatory relationships and ensuring compliance end-to-end.

You will localize AML/CFT practices for both markets, decide on complex due diligence with local context, and leverage AI to scale operations. Remote setup includes Amsterdam onboarding with periodic visits to Belgium.

Qualifications

• Experience managing regulatory relationships (NBB/CBI) in a banking environment.
• Deep AML/CFT knowledge for Belgium/Ireland markets.
• Proven track record delivering regulated entity setups or passporting on external deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Deliver full branch conversion for Ireland and Belgium to regulatory deadline.
• Be the named contact for regulators and defend safety under scrutiny.
• Localize AML/CFT framework for both markets through gap analysis.
• Make and defend customer due diligence decisions with local context.
• Use AI to scale processes and build/run automation.
