Job summary

ALTEN International is seeking a Billing Clerk to manage monthly invoicing, collect and record billing documents, generate invoices, and maintain client accounts receivable in a dynamic European environment.

You will interact with clients and internal teams by phone and email, assist with month-end closing, and support process improvements while meeting tight deadlines. Collaboration and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in accountancy or related field.
• Ideally first experience in billing.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• French or Dutch speaker, with fluent English.
• Organized & rigorous, you are able to respect strict deadlines.
• Team member & helpful, willing to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in monthly invoicing & follow up.
• Collect & record billing documents (timesheets/purchase orders).
• Generate and send out invoices.
• Maintain accounts receivable client’s files & records.
• Handle cash collection and help on solving payment discrepancies.
• Interact with clients, business teams & consultants via phone & email.
• Assist with month-end closing and internal projects.
