Job summary

Axis Group in Belgium is seeking a Billing Clerk to manage billing, develop customized payment proposals, and monitor accounts receivable with accuracy and integrity.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration; is bilingual in French and Dutch (English a bonus); proficient in Excel and financial analysis; and has practical experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting/finance/economics/business administration.
• Bilingual in French and Dutch; fluency in English is a plus.
• Ideally some professional experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with Excel expertise.
• Comfortable with numbers and financial analysis.
• Shows strong interest in financial processes and organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer billing accurately and efficiently.
• Develop payment schedules and proposals tailored to customers’ needs.
• Oversee credit management and monitor accounts receivable for financial health.
• Maintain regular contact with external accountant for compliance.
• Monitor financial aspects related to client accounts.
• Process and oversee financial data to ensure integrity and reliability.
• Contribute to daily financial processes of the organization.
