Job summary

Hitachi Energy Belgium N.V. in Zaventem is seeking a Tender & Quotation Specialist to support the Benelux transformers business.

You will prepare competitive, compliant proposals and coordinate with sales, engineering, legal and project teams to translate customer needs into winning bids. You will analyze tender documents, develop cost estimates, manage schedules, and ensure submissions meet technical and commercial requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in tender management or similar commercial role.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with cost estimation and financial analysis.
• Ability to translate technical and commercial information into clear proposals.
• Organized, detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM/ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer tender documents and technical requirements for transformer projects across the Benelux region.
• Prepare accurate and competitive quotations, including cost calculations and pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, legal, and project teams to develop customer-focused proposals.
• Ensure tender submissions comply with technical, contractual, commercial, and legal requirements.
• Manage tender schedules and coordinate activities to meet submission deadlines.
• Communicate with customers during clarification and negotiation phases.
• Maintain records of bids, quotations, results, and lessons learned.
• Identify opportunities to improve tender processes and pricing strategies.
