Ariad Group is seeking a Functional Analyst to bridge business and IT within a banking/insurance environment in Belgium. You translate regulatory and business needs into functional solutions and collaborate with agile teams to deliver value.

In this role you will gather requirements, draft user stories, define acceptance criteria, and ensure alignment across stakeholders. Hybrid, full-time assignments in Antwerp or Brussels with a community of consultants and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst.
• Experience in banking, insurance, or financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication with business and IT stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsabilités

• Act as the link between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring shared understanding of requirements and solutions.
• Gather, analyse, challenge, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Design functional solutions considering business needs, tech constraints, data, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Testers, Architects, and stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Provide functional guidance and clarification during development and testing.
• Contribute to functional testing, defect analysis, and solution validation.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, applications, and ways of working.
