In4Matic is seeking a versatile Data Platform Engineer to design and operate a cloud-native environment that supports reliable, scalable data services. You will blend platform operations, automation, and software development to deliver high quality, governable data solutions.

The role emphasizes strong Python/Shell scripting, IaC with Terraform, and proficiency with AWS, Kubernetes, and Snowflake management.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Python and Shell scripting.
Practical knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and architecture.
Experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS in production environments.
Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance.

Responsabilités

Develop and maintain automation and tooling using Python and Shell scripting.
Design and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform.
Work across core AWS services, including networking, IAM, compute, and storage.
Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot containerized applications on Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
Build, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, using Git-based workflows and preferably Bitbucket.
Support Snowflake administration, including security configuration, RBAC, privileges, resource hierarchy, and object lifecycle management.
Provision and manage Snowflake resources through Terraform, supporting automated environment setup, access management, and governance.
Apply solid software engineering practices such as version control, code reviews, testing, automation, and operational excellence.
