We are seeking an Automation Tester to join our team in Brussels. The role focuses on designing and executing automated test scripts, managing test data, and integrating AI‑powered testing tools. You will collaborate with international delivery teams to deliver high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop test plans and detailed test cases for functional and non‑functional testing.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using Java and AI‑augmented tools.
• Manage test data sets and validate data integrity across Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Execute tests, record results, and report defects using Jira.
• Maintain regression test suites and ensure coverage of user stories.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with Git and cloud infrastructure.
• Configure containerized test environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

Required qualifications

• Proficient in Java (OpenJDK 21) and advanced coding standards.
• Min 17 years of experience with Bachelor Degree
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL for Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑augmented testing and generative AI tools.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with test management tools, particularly Jira, for defect tracking.

Must Have:

Test plans and scenarios — high-level descriptions of functionalities or business

processes to be validated.

Test cases / test scripts — detailed test steps, input data, expected results and

acceptance criteria.

Test data sets — data prepared and maintained for execution of functional or non-

functional tests.

Test execution records — evidence of executed tests, actual results and pass/fail

status.

Defect / bug reports — documented defects including severity, priority,

reproduction steps, expected versus actual behaviour and supporting evidence.

Regression test suites — maintained sets of test cases used to verify that changes

have not affected existing functionality.

Automated test scripts — where test automation is part of the role.

Test automation results/reports — results generated by automated testing tools and
