ALTIA is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join an international project with on-site presence in Brussels. You will handle manual and automated testing, design test plans and automation solutions, manage defects, and analyze results to ensure high-quality delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in test automation, experience with Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured, and programming in Java/Python/JavaScript, plus CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and ISTQB certification.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in test automation with tools/frameworks mentioned.
• Experience in designing and implementing automation solutions.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking.
• Knowledge of test data management processes.
• Programming for automation: Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• CI/CD knowledge with Git-based workflows.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and AI in test generation.
• ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer or equivalent.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join an international project for a major European organization, working on high-impact international projects.

You will be involved in manual and automated testing activities, from requirements analysis and the definition of test plans and scenarios to the design and maintenance of automation solutions, defect management, and test result analysis.

MUST have for this challenge

• EQF Level 7 + 5 years of IT experience, or EQF Level 6 + 7 years, or secondary education + 12 years.
• B2+ level of English.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with test automation technologies/frameworks, including Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, RestAssured, or equivalent tools.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing test automation solutions.
• Test Management / Defect Tracking.
• Test data management.
• Programming for automation: Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Git and CI/CD: Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI.
• Docker / Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Generative AI for automated test generation.
• Mandatory certification: ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer, ISTQB CTFL, or equivalent.
