IBA, located in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, is seeking a skilled software engineer to join their Engineering & Supply Chain team. The role involves designing and implementing software solutions, developing maintainable high-quality software, and collaborating with Automation engineers while working in an international environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor degree in software engineering with at least 3 years of experience and is proficient in Python, with C Sharp knowledge as an advantage. Mission

As a member of the Engineering & Supply Chain team, you'll be working across different business units (Industrial solutions, Proton-therapy and RadioPharma Solutions).

Challenges we trust you with

• Design and implement software solutions based on inputs from Architects and Product owners
• Develop high-quality and maintainable software in accordance with standards
• Closely collaborate with a team of Automation engineers and understand their constraints and way of working
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the software libraries and tools, development environment and engineering practices
• Make the release management of the software solutions developed in support of the Automation solutions
• To be the contact with the Digital Solution department for the platforms, tools and environment required
• Take part into the cybersecurity topics of the Automation team

What We Value

• You have a Bachelor degree in software engineering or equivalent with at least 3 years of practical experience
• Expertise in Python is mandatory
• Expertise in C Sharp is a plus
• You have strong analysis skills and love learning new technologies
• You are solution-oriented and show initiatives
• Given the international environment, you have excellent communication skills in English and preferably also in French

Compensation

The total guaranteed annual compensation range (which includes annual base salary, as well as flexible budget if applicable) for this position is provided below.

Total gross guaranteed annual compensation range: 54,700 - 83,200 €

The salary range indicated above is provided in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements and reflects the typical compensation scope for this position based on the role's level of responsibility, required expertise, and location. The actual offer will be determined on an individual basis, taking into account objective and gender-neutral factors including relevant professional experience, qualifications, specific competencies, and internal equity. The range does not constitute a guaranteed salary and is subject to adjustment based on the final assessment of the selected candidate's profile. The role might also qualify for additional compensation elements such as variable pay, profit sharing, and benefits which are not reflected in this range.
