Johnson Controls is seeking a System Support Engineer to back the Monitoring Alarm Receiving Centre in Brussels. The role focuses on providing technical support, installing and configuring new technologies, and driving continuous improvement across the department.

The candidate will coordinate resources, communicate with management, and ensure data protection and ISO-aligned quality standards are met. A structured, proactive approach to problem-solving is essential.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows Server environments.
• In‑depth understanding of networking.
• Fluent in Dutch/Flemish and English, with intermediate French.

What you will do

We are a trusted partner in remote surveillance and an established player in the security market. To strengthen our team in Brussels, we are looking for a System Support Engineer to support operations of our Monitoring Alarm Receiving Centre (MARC).

How you will do it

• Provide comprehensive technical support for the Monitoring Alarm Receiving Centre to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

• Install, configure, and support new technologies and system enhancements.

• Contribute to continuous performance improvement initiatives across the department.

• Allocate and coordinate internal and external technical resources.

• Maintain clear and regular communication with management regarding technical topics and progress.

• Coordinate and support data protection compliance activities.

• Ensure technical support services meet corporate and company standards.

• Support technical projects within defined budgets and timelines.

• Maintain a secure and organized working environment (“clean desk” policy).

What we look for

Required

• Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows Server environments.

• In‑depth understanding of networking.

• Fluent in Dutch/Flemish and English, and intermediate French.

Preferred

• Knowledge of the electronic security industry and relevant industry certifications.

• Experience with databases.

• Familiarity with systems used in Customer Monitoring Centres (e.g., MASterMind, video surveillance platforms).

• Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 processes and INCERT quality certification requirements.
