Job summary

NTek Software Solutions is seeking a consultant to strengthen license management within the IT department. The role combines administrative work, analysis and file follow-up as transversal support for IT, Purchasing and Finance to ensure reliable, cost-efficient software portfolio management from application to phase-out.

The consultant will follow the license lifecycle, maintain license databases, analyze contracts, review usage data, and develop KPIs with reporting for management, driving cost

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Software Asset Management, license management, IT procurement, IT Asset Management or a similar role.
• Knowledge of licensing models of major software suppliers.
• Knowledge of SAM/ITAM tools.
• Advanced Excel, SQL and/or Power BI for analyses.
• Administratively accurate, analytical, independent, proactive, ownership and communicatively strong.

Responsibilities

• Follow up the entire lifecycle of IT licenses: application, approval, purchase, roll-out, follow-up and renewal
• Maintain a correct and up-to-date database of active, expired, renewable and phased out licenses
• Analyze contracts, terms of use and license clauses with Purchasing, IT and Finance
• Analyze usage data to identify unused or oversized software and suggest optimizations
• Set up and monitor KPIs (active and unused licenses, renewals, compliance risks, savings)
• Prepare analyses, reports and dashboards for management

Role

The consultant strengthens license management within the IT department. The mission combines administrative work, analysis and file follow-up, as a transversal support for IT, Purchasing and Finance. The aim is to ensure reliable, compliant and cost-efficient management of the software portfolio, from application to phase-out.

The consultant is responsible for:
