Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in AI engineering.
• Practical experience deploying AI/ML solutions into production environments.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with LLMs, generative AI, NLP or AI agents.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data (documents, reports, drawings).
• Good understanding of APIs and cloud environments.

Job description

You'll be working at a construction company in Antwerp as an AI Engineer, developing solutions built on LLMs, generative AI and intelligent agents that change how projects are planned and delivered. Your work will turn complex project data, documents and workflows into practical, production-ready tools that real teams use on real sites.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy production-ready AI and machine learning solutions for construction use cases such as planning, estimating, procurement and project delivery.
• Develop AI-powered tools using LLMs, generative AI, NLP and intelligent agents.
• Build AI agents to automate workflows such as tender and contract analysis, document and drawing retrieval, reporting, safety and compliance checks, and day-to-day operations.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers and operational teams to understand their challenges and turn them into practical AI solutions.

Your Profile

• 2-5 years of experience in AI engineering.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Proven experience deploying AI/ML solutions into production environments.
• Practical experience with LLMs, generative AI, NLP or AI agents.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data, such as documents, reports and technical drawings.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, APIs and cloud environments.
