Koda Tech seeks an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI solutions that transform customer operations and enterprise data handling. You will work across ML, Generative AI, and intelligent automation to deliver value at scale.

In this role you will deploy ML models, develop RAG-based systems, and contribute to MLOps and governance. Strong Python skills and cloud experience are essential, with collaboration across technical and business teams.

We're working with a leading insurance organisation undergoing a major AI transformation across its customer operations, claims handling, underwriting, risk management, and internal business functions.

As an AI Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and deploying production-grade AI solutions that improve customer experience, automate business processes, and unlock value from large volumes of enterprise data.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a mixture of Machine Learning, Generative AI, Intelligent Automation, and Enterprise AI initiatives within a large-scale environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered applications and services for business-critical use cases.
• Build and deploy Machine Learning models into production environments.
• Develop Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG architectures, and AI Agents.
• Build enterprise AI Assistants and Copilot-style solutions for internal teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and innovation.
• Develop scalable APIs, backend services, and AI platforms.
• Deploy and monitor AI applications within Azure cloud environments.
• Contribute to MLOps frameworks, model governance, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Help define AI engineering standards and best practices across the organisation.

Experience & Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or Data Science.
• Strong Python software engineering skills.
• Experience developing and deploying Machine Learning solutions in production.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of API development and modern software engineering practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks.
• MLOps experience including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and model monitoring.
• Knowledge of vector databases and embeddings.
• Exposure to financial services, insurance, or regulated environments.
• Dutch and/or French language skills.
