CDH Professionals is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, develop and integrate AI solutions within a modern technology environment. You will work across the AI lifecycle, collaborating with software engineers, data professionals and business stakeholders to turn AI opportunities into practical, scalable solutions.

You will design and build AI/ML solutions, work with Generative AI, LLMs, and APIs, and deploy and monitor AI services in production.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in AI engineering, machine learning or related field.
• Strong Python programming and hands-on AI/ML development experience.
• Experience with LLMs, Generative AI or related AI technologies.
• Experience with APIs, cloud platforms and modern software engineering practices.

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to design, develop and integrate AI solutions within a modern technology environment.

You will work across the AI lifecycle, from exploring and developing solutions through to deployment, integration and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with software engineers, architects, data professionals and business stakeholders to turn AI opportunities into practical, scalable solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Design and develop AI and machine learning solutions for real-world business use cases.
• Work with Generative AI, LLMs and/or traditional machine learning.
• Develop AI services, APIs and integrations with existing applications and platforms.
• Build solutions using data processing, model development and evaluation techniques.
• Deploy, monitor and optimise AI solutions in production environments.
• Explore emerging AI technologies and assess their potential business applications.
• Contribute to AI architecture, technical decisions and engineering standards.
• Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, reliable and maintainable.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to technical best practices.

Your profile

• 4+ years of Experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong programming experience, particularly Python.
• Hands‑on experience developing and integrating AI/ML solutions.
• Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, machine learning or related AI technologies.
• Experience working with APIs, cloud platforms and modern software engineering practices.
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with deployment, containers, CI/CD and/or MLOps.
• Understanding of data processing, model evaluation and AI lifecycle management.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of technical solutions.
• English required; Dutch and/or French is an advantage.
