NISH Tech BV is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to deploy, operate and maintain in-house applications in a complex enterprise IT environment. You will work across Linux, Windows Server, IIS, SQL and infrastructure technologies to ensure reliable deployment and availability in Acceptance and Production environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Application Support or similar roles.
• Strong Linux Red Hat experience with deployment and log analysis.
• Windows Server 2012–2022, IIS and web app deployment knowledge.
• PowerShell proficiency; understanding of firewalls and load balancing.
• DevOps, CI/CD pipelines knowledge; troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Deploy and update in-house applications across Acceptance and Production.
• Support architecture, setup and deployment of new applications.
• Provide 2nd-line application support and complex troubleshooting.
• Deploy and support on Linux Red Hat and Windows Server environments.
• Analyze logs and incidents; configure F5 VIPs for web apps.
• Support RabbitMQ and Redis Cache; maintain DR/BCP plans.
• Monitor health and ensure reliable service operation.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors; maintain documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of deployment processes.

About the Role

NISH Tech BV is looking for an experiencedApplication Support Engineer to support the deployment, operation and maintenance of in-house applications within a complex enterprise IT environment. You will work acrossLinux, Windows Server, IIS, SQL and infrastructure technologies, ensuring applications are deployed reliably and remain available across Acceptance and Production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and update in-house applications across Acceptance and Production environments, primarily usingWindows IIS and SQL.


• Support the architecture, setup and deployment of new applications.


• Provide2nd-line application supportand contribute to 2nd/3rd-level troubleshooting when required.


• Deploy and support applications onLinux Red Hat and Windows Server environments.


• Analyse application and system logs and troubleshoot technical incidents.


• ConfigureF5 load-balancing VIPsfor web applications.


• Support and maintain shared technologies such asRabbitMQ and Redis Cache.


• Contribute to and validateDisaster Recovery Plans and Business Continuity Plans.


• Monitor application and infrastructure health and ensure reliable service operation.


• Collaborate with IT clients, infrastructure teams, application teams and external vendors to resolve incidents and technical issues.


• Maintain accurate installation, operational and technical documentation.


• Support continuous improvement of application support and deployment processes.


• Contribute to the security, availability and operational stability of supported applications.

Required Skills

Mandatory Skills

• At least5 years of relevant experiencein Application Support, System Administration, Infrastructure Support or a similar role.


• Strong recent experience withLinux Red Hat, including application deployment, log analysis, system health monitoring and scripting.


• Strong experience withWindows Server 2012–2022.


• Good knowledge ofMicrosoft IISand web application deployment.


• Good knowledge ofPowerShell.


• Understanding offirewalls and network load balancing.


• Knowledge ofDevOps and CI/CD pipelines.


• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.


• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical teams.


• Customer-oriented, pragmatic and solution-focused approach.


• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies.

• Willingness to participate in a24/7 duty rotation, approximately 1 week every 6 weeks.
