Jan De Nul Group is seeking an HSE Advisor for the Antwerp region. You will implement and monitor safety policy, work with site management, and ensure projects run safely. The role requires a Level 2 safety advisor certification, 5+ years of experience, and fluency in English and French (Dutch preferred).

Qualifications

• Level 2 safety advisor certification.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in construction.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of English and French.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities.

Responsabilités

• Monitor the safety and progress of the work through risk analyses and safety inspections.
• Consult with site and project management and engage with foremen, workers and subcontractors.
• Prepare reports and develop safety procedures and toolbox meetings.
• Prepare project-specific documents (HSE implementation plan, emergency plan, inspection and testing plan).
• Help organize safety training sessions.
• Observe and log safety issues on site and follow up on incidents.
• Investigate accidents on site and implement safety modifications to prevent recurrence.
• Facilitate QHSSE audits and inspections.
