Job summary

Huxley is seeking an AML AI Specialist to support its anti-money laundering operations in Brussels. The role focuses on identifying AI-driven improvements, building prototypes, and delivering measurable value within a highly regulated environment.

You will work with AML analysts, deploy AI assistants and Copilot solutions, and ensure traceability, compliance and clear communication with stakeholders in English (French or Dutch preferred). Hybrid work model in a regulated setting is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven AML Operations experience in Compliance or Financial Crime.
• Hands-on with AI assistants, AI agents or GenAI solutions.
• Ability to independently develop prototypes and practical business solutions.
• Experience collaborating with operational teams and end users.

Responsibilities

• Identify Operational Improvement Opportunities by analysing AML processes and engaging with analysts and team leads.
• Build and Deploy AI Solutions by designing AI assistants and deploying prototypes for pilot testing.
• Support AML & Financial Crime activities including KYC, CDD, EDD, KYT, sanctions screening and SAW investigations.
• Deliver Measurable Results by evaluating efficiency gains and preparing reusable solutions and knowledge transfer materials.

AML AI Specialist

Overview

Our client is looking for an AML AI Specialist to support its Anti-Money Laundering operations team in identifying and implementing practical AI-driven improvements. The environment is highly regulated and focuses on reducing manual effort while maintaining quality, consistency, traceability and regulatory compliance.

This assignment is designed for an experienced AML professional who has hands-on experience with AI assistants, AI agents or Generative AI solutions and can independently build and deploy working prototypes that create immediate operational value.

Responsibilities

Identify Operational Improvement Opportunities

• Analyse AML processes and workflows.
• Engage with AML analysts and team leads.
• Identify repetitive and time-consuming activities suitable for AI support.
• Prioritise initiatives based on business impact and implementation feasibility.

Build and Deploy AI Solutions

• Design and configure AI assistants, copilots and AI agents.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and operational prototypes.
• Pilot solutions with end users.
• Refine tools through rapid feedback cycles.

Support AML & Financial Crime Activities

• KYC Reviews
• Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
• Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
• KYT and Transaction Monitoring
• PEP & Sanctions Screening
• Source of Funds / Source of Wealth Investigations

Required Experience

• Proven experience in AML Operations, Compliance or Financial Crime.
• Strong knowledge of KYC, KYT, CDD and EDD processes.
• Experience building, configuring or deploying AI assistants, AI agents, Copilot solutions or GenAI applications.
• Ability to independently develop prototypes and practical business solutions.
• Experience working directly with operational teams and business users.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
