Abakus IT-Solutions in Belgium is seeking an Agile Project Manager (Infrastructure) to lead IT production initiatives, align business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners, and serve as the Initiative Owner.

You will coordinate across Agile ceremonies, manage risks and priorities, and ensure delivery of expected business and technical outcomes while balancing cost, scope, and quality in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of strong experience in a similar Agile Project Management function.
• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure-related initiatives.
• Ability to work in a complex IT production environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and ways of working.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage priorities effectively.

Responsabilités

• Act as the Initiative Owner for IT Production initiatives.
• Collaborate with other Agile Project Managers within the organization.
• Support Business Initiative Owners in ensuring successful initiative delivery and managing conflicts related to prioritization, budget, value for money, and scope.
• Monitor and control the progress of features linked to initiatives.
• Ensure initiatives deliver the expected business and technical outcomes.
• Collect and consolidate feature status information from Feature Delivery Owners.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies.
• Identify and track impediments at initiative, opus, and feature levels.
• Facilitate the resolution of issues and blockers.
• Create a trusted environment that encourages open communication, decision-making, and effective collaboration.
• Ensure smooth communication and information flow between stakeholders.
• Protect teams from unexpected workloads and align priorities with APS Management.
• Contribute to Agile practices such as Scrum of Scrums and Quarterly Agile Planning.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT suppliers, challenging both sides to ensure optimal solutions in terms of cost, quality, and budget.

Technical & Business experience

• Experience managing IT Production or infrastructure initiatives.
• Experience working with Agile frameworks and ceremonies.
• Ability to understand both business requirements and technical constraints.
• Experience collaborating with IT suppliers and technical teams.
• Ability to balance cost, quality, scope, and delivery objectives.
