Degroof Petercam Asset Management SA Belgium is seeking an AI Strategy Lead to shape AI impact across investment management. You will define strategy, identify opportunities, and drive a learning, innovative culture while coaching AI engineers and collaborating with data teams and business units.

You will report to the Chief Technology and Operations Officer and help build a responsible AI/data governance framework, with hybrid work options and a focus on growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in AI strategy or implementation.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and how they create value in business contexts.
• Experience contributing to transformation projects or process improvements.
• Working knowledge of Python, SQL, and ML tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).

Responsabilités

• Define and drive the AI strategy for the investment management pillar, aligned with group priorities and regulatory standards.
• Identify high-impact opportunities to improve processes and decision-making with AI strategy.
• Build and execute a roadmap to create a learning, adaptable and innovation-driven environment.
• Coach and support AI engineers and colleagues to turn ideas into solutions.
• Collaborate with data teams, quant experts, and business teams to translate needs into scalable AI solutions.
• Contribute to shaping the company’s data strategy, including data quality, accessibility, and governance.
• Ensure AI is developed and used responsibly with ethics and data integrity.
• Improve processes and support IT, Operations, and Transformation teams.
