ConSol Partners seeks an experienced AI & Software Solutions Engineer to join a Leuven-based client on a 2-year contract (Freelance/Consultant), with 3 days on-site per week. You will develop AI-enabled software for semiconductor R&D and manufacturing workflows, advancing MES platforms and broader software ecosystems.

You should have a Master’s in a related field, strong Python skills, and hands-on AI experience (LLMs, agents, RAG, ML). English fluency is required for collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong software development background with production‑grade applications.
• Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages.
• Hands-on experience with AI technologies, including LLMs, AI agents, RAG, ML, or advanced analytics.
• Good understanding of databases, APIs, cloud technologies, and data engineering concepts.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Develop software and AI solutions to enhance R&D and manufacturing workflows.
• Contribute to evolution of a MES platform and its software ecosystem.
• Build tools to streamline process flow management, execution, reporting, and collaboration.
• Create applications, services, and AI-enabled solutions leveraging an enterprise data platform.
• Design and implement AI agents, copilots, and automation solutions for engineering teams.
