Qplox engineering seeks an AI & Software Solutions Engineer to build production-quality software, data solutions and AI-powered apps for semiconductor R&D and manufacturing.

You will work at the intersection of software, AI, data and semiconductor processes, contributing to MES evolution and the broader R&D software ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science or related discipline.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in software engineering, AI/ML, data engineering or related field.
• Production-quality software development experience.
• Excellent Python skills or comparable language.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, RAG, ML or analytics.
• Knowledge of databases, APIs, cloud technologies and data engineering.
• Strong understanding of modern software development practices.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Develop scalable software applications, services and automation solutions for semiconductor R&D and manufacturing.
• Contribute to evolution of MES platforms and tooling for process-flow definition, execution and reporting.
• Build applications and services on top of an enterprise R&D Data Platform.
• Design and implement AI agents, copilots and GenAI solutions for engineering teams.
• Apply LLMs, RAG, machine learning and analytics to real-world engineering challenges.
• Develop APIs, data integrations and cloud-based solutions following modern software practices.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data specialists and semiconductor process engineers.

Build the software and AI solutions shaping the future of semiconductor R&D and manufacturing.

We are looking for an AI & Software Solutions Engineer to join a semiconductor R&D environment and develop production-quality software, data solutions and AI-powered applications that help engineering teams work smarter and faster.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of software engineering, AI, data and semiconductor manufacturing, contributing to the evolution of a Manufacturing Execution System and the broader R&D software ecosystem.

What you’ll do

• Develop scalable software applications, services and automation solutions for semiconductor R&D and manufacturing.
• Contribute to the evolution of MES platforms and tools supporting process-flow definition, execution and reporting.
• Build applications and services on top of an enterprise R&D Data Platform.
• Design and implement AI agents, copilots and GenAI solutions that support engineering teams.
• Apply technologies such as LLMs, RAG, machine learning and advanced analytics to real-world engineering challenges.
• Develop APIs, data integrations and cloud-based solutions following modern software engineering practices.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, data specialists and semiconductor process engineers.

What you bring

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science or a related discipline.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in software engineering, AI/ML, data engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience developing production-quality software.
