European Tech Recruit in Leuven, Belgium, is seeking a Lead AI Agent Engineer to define, build and operationalise AI agents for Security Operations, covering the full lifecycle from use-case to deployment and handover. You will work with security analysts and engineers to translate cybersecurity challenges into robust, production-ready AI solutions and ensure measurable value and adoption.

Location: Leuven, Belgium with 3 days onsite per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in cybersecurity disciplines.
• Proven experience designing and delivering AI-enabled solutions.
• Experience building, deploying and maintaining production-ready solutions.
• Ability to work independently from concept to implementation and handover.
• Strong understanding of operational requirements and scalable solutions.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proactive, hands-on and solution-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable in evolving environments where requirements mature over time.
• Excited about using AI to redefine cybersecurity teams.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsabilités

• Own the full AI agent lifecycle from use case identification to deployment and handover.
• Identify opportunities where AI can add measurable value for Security Operations and validate ideas through experiments.
• Translate cybersecurity challenges into robust AI-enabled, production-ready solutions.
• Collaborate with security analysts, engineers and SMEs to refine requirements and support adoption.
• Build, deploy and maintain production-ready AI agents for ongoing SOC use.
• Create technical documentation, procedures and knowledge transfer materials for long-term SOC support.
• Ensure smooth handover so SOC can operate the solutions post-assignment.
• Evaluate emerging AI capabilities for continuous improvement.
