Job summary

Danone Belux is seeking an Account Manager AFH for the Flanders region to grow a diverse portfolio in the Horeca sector, focusing on coffee bars, premium restaurants and summer venues. You will lead partnerships, drive growth, and align with cross-functional teams to expand Danone’s brands across Plantbased, Waters & Dairy in AFH.

You’ll leverage an entrepreneurial mindset to identify opportunities, nurture long-term relationships, and deliver sustainable results for Danone’s Away From Home

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a commercial B2B sales role, preferably FMCG/HoReCa.
• Strong understanding of the Flemish HoReCa market and key players.
• Experience in catering, foodservice, or institutional kitchens is a strong asset.
• Excellent commercial and negotiation skills with a results-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage existing networks while developing new relationships.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to identify growth opportunities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable working under pressure with multiple priorities.
• Agile and adaptable with ability to respond to market changes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an existing AFH customer portfolio in Flanders.
• Actively prospect and acquire new customers and partners to drive sales growth.
• Develop business within coffee bars, premium restaurants, summer bars, and networks.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and partners.
• Lead commercial negotiations and secure agreements that create value.
• Identify market trends, emerging channels, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Finance, and cross-functional teams.
• Implement brand activation and customer development initiatives in AFH.
• Monitor performance and advise actions to hit sales and profitability targets.
• Adapt quickly to market dynamics and evolving strategies.
