CADskills in Gent, Belgium, seeks a skilled technician to operate SLM and resin 3D printers and manage titanium powder handling, ensuring high-quality patient-specific implants. You will monitor equipment, perform heat treatment and Wire EDM, and maintain documentation and traceability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical education in a relevant field; equivalent practical experience considered.
• Around three years of practical experience operating, setting up, or maintaining production equipment in an industrial environment.
• Experience with additive manufacturing, CNC, metal processing or related technologies is advantageous.
• Good technical understanding of production equipment and processes with ability to troubleshoot abnormalities.
• Precise, systematic and quality-conscious working style with emphasis on safety, documentation and traceability; regulated environment experience is a plus.
• Comfortable with digital production and documentation systems; experience with machine control software is an advantage.
• Reliable team player who can work independently, communicates clearly, and is eager to learn across production activities.
• Fluent in Dutch and English

Responsabilités

• Prepare, operate, and monitor SLM and resin 3D printers, including production checks and alarm handling.
• Handle titanium powder and related equipment, including sieve and argon gas monitoring.
• Perform heat treatment and Wire EDM processes and transfer parts to the next stage.
• Carry out routine equipment checks and basic maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate further support.
• Ensure complete documentation and traceability of production activities, materials, data, and non-conformities.
• Identify deviations and stop production when needed to ensure only qualified parts move forward.
• Support additional production activities such as 3D scanning, ultrasonic cleaning, labeling, sterilisation prep, and shipping.
• Monitor stock levels of key materials and support a smooth day-to-day workflow.
