You will be admin support for 3 of our sites, Zellik, Mechelen and Antwerp working alongside our HR Advisors/Business Partners and Manager.

What your day looks like as an Administrator – HR
In this role, you’ll be a valued partner to our operations team and employees, helping to create a supportive, well‑run and positive workplace. You will:
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and compliance while keeping managers updated on key HR developments.
- Deliver a warm and professional new hire orientation to set employees up for success.
- Support managers with performance management and fair, consistent HR practices.
- Maintain accurate, confidential personnel files in line with company standards and legal requirements.
- Partner with our leave administrator to manage and track all types of employee leave.
- Coach managers and employees to strengthen teamwork, communication, and overall workplace culture.
- Build engagement through regular contact with employees and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
- Lead the screening, hiring, onboarding and early development of new employees so they can add value quickly.
- Support key GXO HR initiatives across the site.
- Work safely and help promote a safe environment for all colleagues and visitors.
- Contribute to environmental awareness and GXO’s sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, industry standards, and continuous improvement efforts.
What you need to be successful
- Strong verbal and written communication in Dutch and French, plus basic English.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Some HR experience is beneficial—but if you’re eager to learn, we’ll support your growth.
- Willingness to travel to other sites when needed.
- Confident using MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Knowledge of Visma or Protime is a bonus.
