Job summary

Securitas Technology Belgium is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team in Diegem. Reporting to the CFO, you will own statutory and group accounting and lead the GL & AP team.

Responsibilities include monthly close, financial reporting per Belgian GAAP and IFRS, intercompany reconciliation, VAT/corporate tax coordination, and audit liaison. You will work closely with CFO, Controlling and FP&A.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of accounting experience in a corporate setting.
• Experience with VAT, corporate tax, IFRS reporting and audits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing and financial reporting in line with Belgian GAAP and IFRS.
• Prepare, analyse and report monthly results, balance sheet, cash flow and Group reporting schedules.
• Manage reporting through D365 and Tagetik.
• Coordinate intercompany positions and settlements.
• Review and validate VAT declarations and coordinate corporate tax reporting with external advisors.
• Prepare the annual statutory accounts.
• Act as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors.
• Manage, coach and support the GL & AP accounting team.
• Work closely with the CFO, Controlling and FP&A teams.
• Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis to the business.

Accounting Manager – Securitas Technology Belgium

Are you an experienced accounting professional ready to combine hands-on accounting expertise with team leadership?

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team in Diegem. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of statutory and group accounting & reporting while leading and supporting our GL and AP team.

Your responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing and financial reporting in line with Belgian GAAP and IFRS
• Prepare, analyse and report monthly results, balance sheet, cash flow and Group reporting schedules
• Manage reporting through D365 and Tagetik

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent through experience
• Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a corporate environment
• Experience with statutory reporting, external audits, VAT and corporate tax processes
• Experience with IFRS group reporting and consolidation
• Fluent in Dutch and English, with a good understanding of French
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/reporting systems
• Experience with D365, Oracle and/or Tagetik is considered a plus
