Job summary

Securitas Technology Belgium is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the Finance team in Diegem. You will own statutory and group accounting & reporting, supervise the GL and AP teams and ensure timely monthly close in line with Belgian GAAP and IFRS.

You will coordinate intercompany settlements, VAT and corporate tax reporting with external advisors, and act as main contact for auditors. Strong Dutch/English and Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 10+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Experience with statutory reporting, external audits, VAT and corporate tax processes.
• IFRS group reporting and consolidation experience.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, good understanding of French.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP/reporting system experience (D365/Oracle/Tagetik considered a plus).

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate monthly closing and financial reporting in line with Belgian GAAP and IFRS.
• Prepare, analyze and report monthly results, balance sheet, cash flow and group schedules.
• Manage reporting through D365 and Tagetik.
• Coordinate intercompany positions and settlements.
• Review VAT declarations and coordinate corporate tax reporting with external advisors.
• Prepare the annual statutory accounts and liaise with auditors.
• Lead, coach and support the GL & AP accounting team.
• Collaborate with CFO, Controlling and FP&A teams on ad hoc reporting.

Accounting Manager – Securitas Technology Belgium

Are you an experienced accounting professional ready to combine hands-on accounting expertise with team leadership?

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team in Diegem. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of statutory and group accounting & reporting while leading and supporting our GL and AP team.

Your responsibilities:

As Accounting Manager, you will:

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing and financial reporting in line with Belgian GAAP and IFRS
• Prepare, analyse and report monthly results, balance sheet, cash flow and Group reporting schedules
• Manage reporting through D365 and Tagetik
• Coordinate intercompany positions and settlements
• Review and validate VAT declarations and coordinate corporate tax reporting with external advisors
• Prepare the annual statutory accounts
• Act as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors
• Manage, coach and support the GL & AP accounting team
• Work closely with the CFO, Controlling and FP&A teams
• Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis to the business

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent through experience
• Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a corporate environment
• Experience with statutory reporting, external audits, VAT and corporate tax processes
• Experience with IFRS group reporting and consolidation
• Fluent in Dutch and English, with a good understanding of French
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/reporting systems
• Experience with D365, Oracle and/or Tagetik is considered a plus
