Job summary

Ibexa is seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to join the finance team in Louvain-la-Neuve starting February 2027. This internship is designed for students pursuing an accounting degree to gain practical experience in the accounting field.

You will support AP/AR, assist with month-end close, audits, and maintain organized records while collaborating with a diverse European team in a growing software company.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Accounting.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience using the Google Suite and Google Sheets; experience with accounting software is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliation.
• Participate in month-end and (year-end) closing procedures.
• Conduct research and compile data for various accounting projects and reports.
• Assist with audit preparations and provide support during audits.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
