A leading service provider in Australia is seeking an EL1 Assistant Director Service Transition. The role entails managing service transition activities and leading a team in an operational ICT environment. The successful applicant must have at least 5 years of experience and exceptional communication skills. Candidates must be Australian citizens capable of obtaining Baseline Clearance. This contract starts on 06 November 2023 for 12 months with potential extensions.
Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain Baseline Clearance only respond.
The Services Transition function includes the implementation and transition of new and changed ICT Services across NDIA, and includes Change and Release Management activities. The successful applicant will lead the team responsible for managing service transition activities and will be responsible for ensuring the change and release management frameworks are adhered to.
Duties
Every application requires to address selection criteria as part of application submission.
1. Demonstrated minimum 5 years experience leading teams in an operational environment through ICT management frameworks such as ITIL.
2. Demonstrated experience in Service Transition, delivering projects into BAU.
3. Demonstrated experience in Change and Release Management.
4. Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including an ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a clear and confident manner.
5. Experience working in Government or providing services to a Government agency preferred.
