Job summary

Downer is seeking a Health & Safety Performance and Programs Manager to govern strategic Zero Harm initiatives and deliver safety programs across the business. You will translate strategy into actionable programs, lead organisational change, and provide data-driven insights to inform leadership decisions.

You will collaborate with leaders and external partners to build capability, develop dashboards and training materials, and drive measurable improvements in health, safety and wellbeing

Qualifications

• Formal health and safety qualifications required.
• Advanced capability in safety management system review, design and development.
• Minimum of five years' practical experience in a similar role.
• Advanced experience in program governance, performance measurement, data analysis and statistical interpretation.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable programs and lead organisational change.

Responsibilities

• Govern Zero Harm portfolio and align programs with business objectives and outcomes.
• Analyse Zero Harm performance data and produce strategic reporting and recommendations.
• Lead safety improvement programs focusing on injury reduction and continuous improvement.
• Develop performance frameworks, dashboards, training content and communication materials for behavioural change.
• Collaborate with leaders, Zero Harm teams, operations and external partners to deliver solutions.
