Job summary

Downer Energy & Utilities seeks a proactive Zero Harm Advisor to support Wheatstone operations in Onslow, WA. This full-time residential role focuses on embedding Zero Harm standards across site activities and leading safety improvements with operations and engineering teams.

You will mentor leaders, conduct inspections and audits, investigate incidents, and manage reporting in client and Downer systems, while aiming for an injury-free, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of operational safety exposure within a project-based environment or equivalent trade-based experience.
• Certificate IV in OHS/WHS.
• ICAM Lead Investigator and/or auditing experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach and guide operational leaders, engineers and supervisors to promote a proactive Zero Harm culture.
• Ensure application of Downer Zero Harm standards and legislative requirements across all work activities.
• Conduct observations, site inspections and audits.
• Investigate incidents, injuries or breaches of safety and environmental procedures.
• Manage incident reporting within Downer and client systems.
