Job summary

Downer Energy & Utilities is seeking a Zero Harm Advisor to support Wheatstone operations in Onslow, WA. This full-time residential role ensures Zero Harm standards are embedded across site operations, reporting to the Site Superintendent.

You’ll conduct observations, audits and incident investigations, applying HSEMS and safety requirements. The role requires strong communication, emotional intelligence and problem-solving skills to lead safety outcomes on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of operational safety exposure in a project-based environment.
• Experience with Health, Safety & Environment Management Systems (HSEMS).
• Certificate IV in OHS/WHS required.

Responsibilities

• Apply Downer Zero Harm standards and legislative requirements across all work activities.
• Conduct observations, site inspections and audits.
• Investigate incidents, injuries or breaches of safety procedures.
• Manage incident reporting within Downer and client systems.
