Job summary

Indie Education in Frankston is seeking a 12 month fixed term full‑time Trainer and Assessor (Coach) to deliver training and assessment to a student cohort across our Frankston campus. The role focuses on engaging learners and delivering according to the relevant training package and Indie’s strategies.

Indie Education provides paid professional development, training materials, and compliance support, with a clear framework to upskill trainers and assessors.

Qualifications

• Delivery of training and assessment to students in line with training packages.
• Ability to adapt delivery to diverse learner needs.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Demonstrate professional boundaries and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training/assessment upon completion of relevant qualifications.
• Provide flexible and engaging delivery to the student cohort.
• Adapt training to students' learning needs and backgrounds.
• Maintain professional boundaries and complete required documentation.
• Transport students to and from sessions as permitted.
• Complete annual professional development as required by Indie.
