Job summary

KAEFER is seeking a Yards Person to join the QAL Maintenance Team in Gladstone. This role is an immediate start in a safety-focused maintenance environment, supporting ongoing site activities and general yard operations.

The successful candidate will have relevant certifications, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work both independently and within a team on a major industrial site in Gladstone.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Construction Card (white or blue).
• Current EWP Licence/Ticket is required.
• Working at Heights certification (issued within last 2 years).
• Confined Space Entry certification (issued within last 2 years).
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable, punctual, and physically fit.

Responsibilities

• General yard duties and housekeeping.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Safe movement of materials and equipment.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
• Supporting maintenance operations as required.

Requirements

• Current Construction Card – white or blue
• Current EWP Licence/Ticket
• Working at Heights certification (issued within the last 2 years)
• Confined Space Entry certification (issued within the last 2 years)
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable, punctual, and physically fit
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Must be local to the Gladstone region (No FIFO/DIDO applicants)
