Job summary

KAEFER Integrated Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker for an on-site maintenance role at a major LNG facility in Queensland. You will fabricate, install, modify and repair sheet metal components, interpret drawings, and maintain high safety and quality standards.

You should have a sheet metal fabrication trade qualification, at least 2 years of experience, a current driver's licence, working at heights certification, and fitness for work.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in sheet metal or engineering fabrication.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a sheet metal worker.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Current Working at Heights (WAH).
• Ability to pass a Fitness for Work Medical.

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our maintenance team commencing ASAP. This role involves the fabrication, installation, modification, and repair of sheet metal components within a busy industrial environment, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal components and structures
• Interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
• Perform maintenance and modification works
• Ensure compliance with site safety and quality standards
• Work effectively within a maintenance team to meet project objectives

About You

You are a motivated and safety-focused tradesperson with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship. You have experience working in industrial maintenance environments, can work independently or as part of a team, and consistently deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Trade Qualification in Sheet Metal / Engineering Fabrication
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sheet Metal Worker
• Current Driver's Licence
• Current Working at Heights (WAH)
• Ability to pass a Fitness for Work Medical
