Job summary

KAEFER Integrated Services Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Trade Assistants for a shutdown in the Bowen Basin. The role involves CHPP maintenance, supporting coal handling shutdown scopes and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to meet daily targets.

What you bring: essential tickets including BMA Core Induction, Standard 11, Coal Board Medical, WAH/GTA/CSE, and a valid Driver's License. Local to the Bowen Basin and safety-focused work mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Essential tickets listed above are required.
• Must be local to the Bowen Basin area.
• Safety-focused and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Execute CHPP maintenance and repair activities safely and efficiently.
• Support shutdown scopes including clean coal, raw coal and thickener works.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to meet daily targets and uphold site standards.
• DIDO to Moranbah from surrounding areas.
• Meals and accommodation provided while working (not on weekends).
• Monday to Friday roster, 4x12 hour days then a 10 hour day so you can travel home.

KAEFER Integrated Services is currently seeking experienced Trade Assistants to work on an upcoming Shutdown we have in the Bowen Basin.

Duration: 26th October 2026 through to late November/ early December.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Execute CHPP maintenance and repair activities safely and efficiently
• Support shutdown scopes including clean coal, raw coal and thickener works
• Collaborate with multi-disc teams to meet daily targets and uphold site standards
• DIDO to Moranbah from surrounding areas
• Meals and accommodation provided while working (not on weekends)
• Monday to Friday roster, 4x12 hour days then a 10 hour day so you can travel home
