Job summary

Coates Hire Operations Pty Limited is seeking a hands-on Yardperson to keep the yard safe, clean and well-organised, and to prepare equipment for hire. You will assist with loading/unloading, operate forklifts, and perform basic maintenance tasks while supporting efficient stock movements.

You will ideally bring a strong safety focus, a current driver’s licence, and forklift competence (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in equipment hire, warehousing, logistics or yard operations is highly regarded.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities
