Job summary

Chilli bins Leading Waste Management in Caboolture is seeking a hard working Yardman/Picker/Sorter to join our recycling facility team. You will perform general picking in construction and demolition waste and assist with routine yard maintenance and site cleaning.

On-site training provided for driving the sweeper and safe operation of equipment. This entry level role requires physical fitness, a positive can-do attitude and reliable work ethic.

Qualifications

• Entry level recycling role requiring physical fitness and a positive can-do attitude with strong work ethics.
• Must be prepared to wear safety equipment during the shift (hardhat, safety glasses, masks, hearing protection, gloves, hi-vis clothing).

Responsibilities

• Pick items in construction and demolition waste at the facility.
• Assist with routine plant and yard maintenance (greasing and cleaning).
• Drive the site sweeper (on-site training provided).

Job description

Chilli bins Leading Waste Management is seeking a hard working and honest Yardman/Picker/Sorter to join our team at our Chilli Recycle Facility located in Caboolture.

The role involves working in an indoor/outdoor environment completing general picking in construction and demolition waste resource recovery facility.

When not Picking you will assist the team with routine plant and yard maintenance tasks such as greasing and general cleaning duties as well as driving the site sweeper (on site training will be provided.

This is a recycling entry level position the requires you to be physically fit and have a positive can do attitude with strong work ethics. The ideal candidate must be prepared to wear appropriate safety equipment during the shift, including hardhat, safety glasses, masks, hearing protection, gloves ,long sleeved high visibility clothing.

Future career development opportunities exist including leadership roles, Truck Driving, Loader or Excavator roles are available to those that display initiative and the right attitudE.

Must have own transport be reliable trustworthy and able to pass drug and alcohol testing.
