Job summary

Workfast in New Chum, QLD is seeking Labourers to join our Recycling and Waste Management team. You will perform manual labour, landscaping tasks, load sandbags, and help maintain a clean, safe work site on a typical shift from 6:00am to 4:00pm.

Candidates must have an Australian Driver's Licence and full working rights, be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol tests, and have reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Australian Driver's Licence and full working rights required.
• Prior experience in a similar role preferred.
• Must have reliable transport.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscaping duties, including moving and spreading topsoil across the site.
• Load and fill sandbags as required.
• Perform manual labour tasks such as shovelling, lifting, carrying materials and site clean-up.
• Assist the team with general landscaping and site maintenance duties.
• Work alongside supervisors and team members to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the site manager or team leader.
