Forklift Driver Operator

We are seeking a Forklift Operator to join a busy recycling operation based in Townsville. This role is at the heart of the yard's daily operations — moving bins, filling skips, and loading trucks — and suits someone who takes pride in getting the job done safely and efficiently.

Required Skills:

• Current LF forklift licence
• Good level of fitness with the ability to complete manual handling tasks
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow WH&S practices

Nice to Have Skills:

• Telehandler ticket — a massive advantage, though not essential
• Prior experience in the recycling, waste management, or yard operations industry

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Experience operating a forklift in a yard, recycling, or industrial setting

Other Requirements:

• Shifts run 6:00 am-2:00 pm, with some overtime as required
• Willingness to get hands-on in a physically demanding, outdoor yard environment
