CrewSELECT Pty Ltd is seeking 2 reliable Workshop Pickers/Sorters to join a busy recycling facility in Hemmant, QLD. The roles run Monday–Friday with day and afternoon shifts and offer immediate starts, weekly pay and full training.

Responsibilities include picking and sorting construction materials on a moving conveyor, separating streams, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Reliability and a positive attitude; willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform repetitive manual work in a dusty environment.
• Follow instructions and work well within a team.
• Reliable transport, including for early starts.
• Unlimited Australian working rights and availability for at least 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Pick and sort construction materials along a moving conveyor line.
• Separate timber, steel, concrete and general waste into streams.
• Use hand tools and shovels to support material flow.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow PPE requirements.
• Assist keeping production running safely and efficiently.

CrewSELECT is seeking 2 reliable Workshop Pickers/Sorters to join a busy recycling facility in Hemmant.

Help recover valuable materials from construction waste while securing consistent weekday work, full training and a genuine opportunity to progress into permanent employment.

What’s on Offer

• Day shift: $35.60/hr + penalties + super
• Afternoon shift: $40.94/hr + penalties + super
• Monday–Friday work with no rotating rosters
• Immediate starts with 6+ months of ongoing work
• Weekly pay and full training provided
• Opportunity to secure permanent employment

The Role

• Pick and sort construction materials along a moving conveyor line
• Separate timber, steel, concrete and general waste into designated streams
• Use hand tools and shovels to support material flow
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Follow site safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Work with the team to keep production running safely and efficiently

What We’re Looking For

Reliability, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.

You’ll also need:

• Capacity to perform repetitive manual work throughout your shift
• Comfort working in a dusty recycling environment
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
• Reliable transport, including for early starts
• Unlimited Australian working rights and availability for at least 6 months
• An LF forklift licence is advantageous

Wearing a P2 respirator is mandatory. Applicants must remain clean-shaven where the mask seals against the face.
