Job summary

Dahlsens Family Group of Companies is seeking a reliable Yard Person to join our Transport & Logistics team in Australia. You will help load and unload deliveries, pick and pack customer orders, and manage stock to ensure orders go out on time.

A hands-on, fast-paced role with on-the-job training and opportunities to build your skills. Ideal candidates are safety-minded, dependable, and collaborative, with experience in building materials or freight being a bonus.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
• A clear communicator who enjoys working with others.
• Committed to safety and our company values.
• Confident operating a forklift safely in a busy yard.
• Able to follow instructions, solve problems and work well under pressure.
• Understanding of freight requirements.
• Current Forklift Licence (LF) essential.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload deliveries.
• Pick and pack customer orders.
• Look after stock and ensure orders are ready on time.
• Work as part of the Transport & Logistics team in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Like working outdoors, staying active and being part of a team that gets things done? We’re looking for a reliable Yard Person to join our Transport & Logistics team. You’ll help load and unload deliveries, pick and pack customer orders, look after stock and make sure orders are ready to go on time. It’s a hands-on, fast-paced role with on-the-job training and opportunities to build your skills.

ABOUT YOU

You’ll be a good fit if you’re safety-minded, dependable and happy to roll up your sleeves. You can work independently when needed, but you also enjoy assisting the broader team. Experience with building materials, hardware or freight would be a bonus.
