Job summary

Dahlsens Building Centres Pty in Australia is offering entry-level roles across our Trade Centre and Retail stores in Bungalow, Gordonvale, Innisfail and Atherton. You’ll work at the hardware counter, chat with tradies, builders, and DIYers, and help customers find what they need.

You must be 15 years old, still at school, and available to work afternoons, weekends and school holidays. We provide training, friendly service, stock handling, and a supportive team in a growing family-owned business.

Qualifications

• Be 15 years of age and still at school.
• Able to work afternoons, weekends and school holidays.
• Enjoy helping customers and working as part of a team.
• Physically able to lift and move stock when needed.
• Commitment to safety and following store procedures.

You’ll be working at the hardware counter and helping customers find what they need. Whether they’re tradies, builders or weekend DIYers, you’ll chat with them, ask the right questions and make their visit easy and friendly.

You’ll need to be 15 years of age, still at school, able to work afternoons, weekends & school holidays.

• Open to learning about products, systems and how the store runs
• Physically able to safely lift and move stock when needed
• Cares about safety and looks out for team members, customers and visitors
