United Rentals in Sydney is seeking a Yard Operator to ensure rental equipment is maintained, organized and ready for customer use, primarily in the branch yard and workshop.

You will inspect, clean, and stage equipment, safely load/unload, and support branch operations with efficient equipment management, contributing to smooth daily performance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in equipment rental, construction, transport, warehousing, or related industries preferred.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment (license preferred/required)
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
• Capability to stand and move around the yard for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong communication and organisational skills

About the Role
