Job summary

Spiecapag Australia is seeking a Yard Hand to join the Plant team at Wellcamp, Toowoomba. The role supports daily yard operations, equipment maintenance, and a safe work environment. It offers hands-on responsibilities with potential project support as needed.

Reporting to the Corporate Plant Manager, the successful candidate will help keep equipment safe and the yard organized, handling deliveries and ensuring compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• RII competencies such as working at heights, confined spaces, excavator.
• Workshop and yard experience desirable.
• Understanding of plant, maintenance and logistics processes.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organised yard.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure plant equipment is safe and reliable.
• Keep the yard and workshop clean and safe, managing waste and disposal.
• Manage inventory for tools, equipment, spare parts, and supplies.
• Safely coordinate the movement of vehicles and machinery in the yard and workshop.
• Handle loading and unloading of deliveries, plant, and equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections of the workshop and equipment.
• Follow company safety policies and all health and safety regulations.

About this role

We are looking for a Yard Hand with a positive attitude and strong work ethic to join our Plant team at Wellcamp (Toowoomba).
