Job summary

CSR is seeking a WCM Engineer to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across Bringelly and Minto sites. You will lead the rollout of WCM initiatives, work with site leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver cost savings and productivity gains, and support major capital projects.

Based at Bringelly or Minto, you will report to the Operations Manager and embed a culture of lean thinking, data-driven decision making and sustainable change across exterior systems

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, mining or similar industrial environment.
• Strong Lean and Continuous Improvement capability, including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping and Root Cause Analysis.
• Proven success delivering process improvement projects and driving operational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and maturity of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) across multiple sites, driving operational excellence initiatives.
• Identify and prioritise improvement opportunities by analysing operational data and processes.
• Contribute to deliver complex continuous improvement projects from concept to implementation with measurable outcomes.
• Interface between site operations and the WCM Centre of Excellence to ensure consistent execution of standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, Production, Maintenance, Quality, Procurement and Engineering to drive alignment and change.
• Contribute to major capital investment and manufacturing optimisation projects using Lean and WCM.
• Leverage data analytics and KPIs to monitor trends and inform decisions.
• Embed Lean/WCM principles to build a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Monitor, audit and review improvements to ensure sustained benefits.
• Coach and develop teams in Lean, WCM and problem-solving methodologies.
• Drive standardisation and best-practice adoption across sites.
• Prepare and present reporting to leadership on progress and outcomes.
