Job summary

CSR Springboard is seeking a WCM Engineer to drive World Class Manufacturing initiatives across Bringelly and Minto sites in NSW. You will lead CI projects, engage with operations and support capital investment programs to uplift efficiency and safety.

Based in a multi-site environment, you will embed Lean principles, mentor teams, analyse performance data, and deliver measurable improvements aligned to CSR's manufacturing excellence goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Electrical, Mechatronics or similar).
• Experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, mining or similar industrial environment.
• Strong Lean and Continuous Improvement capability (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, RCA).
• Proven success delivering process improvement projects or driving operational change.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret manufacturing data and metrics.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and maturity of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) across multiple sites.
• Identify and prioritise improvement opportunities by analysing operations data and processes.
• Deliver complex CI projects from concept through implementation with measurable outcomes.
• Interface between site operations and WCM Centre of Excellence to ensure alignment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable change.
• Contribute to capital investment and plant optimisation projects with Lean methods.
• Leverage data analytics and KPIs to monitor progress and outcomes.
• Embed Lean and WCM principles into daily operations across sites.
• Monitor, audit and sustain improvements for long-term benefits.
• Coach and develop teams in Lean, WCM and problem-solving.
• Drive standardisation and best-practice adoption across sites.
• Prepare and present reporting and recommendations to leadership.
